1 -Playa de Los Muertos- The most popular beach in Puerto
Vallarta, Los Muertos stretches for two miles and is home
to the pier.
2 - Boca de Tomatlan - A small fishing village located 10
miles south of Puerto Vallarta, the beach is quiet, relaxed
and is located in a sheltered bay.
3 - Whale Watching- Banderas Bay is home to it own colony
of Humpback Whales. Many tours are available to view these
magnificent mammals.
4 - Fishing- Puerto Vallarta offers some good deep sea sportfishing
and fresh water fishing in the local mountains. All types
of fish inhabit the waters around Puerto Vallarta at different
times of year.
5 - Banderas Bay- Not only is Banderas Bay a great place to
go whale watching and enjoy other water sports, but it is
also the best place to see turtles. Tourists can participate
in a very unique ceremony in which turtles hatch and are released
into the sea.
6 - Isla Rio Cuale- In the middle of the river that cuts through
downtown is an island that is full of charm, housing a museum,
dining, and much more.
7 - Canopy Tour- experience Puerto Vallarta’s amazing
wilderness from a unique perspective.
8 - Sea Life Park- At Sea Life Park you can get up close and
personal with a fantastic array of marine life. Some of the
activities include swimming with dolphins and sea lions. This
park offers something for everyone in the family.
9 - Archeological Museum- A small museum on the River Cuale
Island in the downtown area displays some of the Precolombian
artefacts found in this area.
10 - The Church of our Lady of Guadalupe – One of the
most popular landmarks in Puerto Vallarta is this Church with
the amazing crown jutting out of the neighboring skyline.
