| 1 - HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME:
Located in the heart of Hollywood, "The walk of fame"
is where you find the stars of your favorite celebrates along
Hollywood Blvd.
2 - VENICE BEACH: The most famous beach on the west coast,
check out street performers, the hard bodies at muscle beach
and other interesting characters wandering around almost all
year around. The weather is summer like all year around.
3 - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS: For more than 80 years, the Universal
Studios in Hollywood, has been bringing entertainment to millions
of people around the world. From the tour of actual stage
sets for famous movies to taping of shows. This is an all
day event full of fun.
4 - GETTY MUSEUM: Has one of the finest art collection in
the world. With modern hilltop fortress houses, buildings,
the museum is worth a visit even if you're not interested
in the art.
5 - HOLLYWOOD SIGN: Can be seen from 101, 10, and 110 freeways
in Los Angeles. Also at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd
and Highland Avenue. (Kodak Theater). The sign itself is fenced
off from the public.
6 - JPL (JET PROPULSION LABORATORY): Located in Pasadena,
JPL is managed by California Institute of Technology. JPL
builds and operates unmanned spacecraft for NASA.
7 - TV SHOW TAPING: Many of these shows can be attended for
free, they include sitcoms, game shows, talk shows etc. Don't
forget the famous "TONIGHT SHOW" with Jay Lenno.
8 - SIGHTSEEING: Take a tour of Muholland drive, and drive
through places like Beverly Hills, Bell Air, Sunset Blvd.
Rodeo dr, Pacific Coast Hwy, and other canyons.
9 - GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY: Since 1935 the observatory has been
world leader in public astronomy. Griffith Observatory offers
exciting shows in the "Samuel Oschin Planetarium, Public
telescopes and Astronomy exhibits.
10 - WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL: Home of the LA Philharmonic,
the hall was designed as one of the most acoustically sophisticated
in the world. Architectural design, the theater are point
of interest.
